while yes, I realize it was your first flash, it was very, sub-par to put it nicely.
Some suggestions i could give you would be:

1. Next time maybe draw something instead of using game footage
2. Make it longer
3. Add more action (people seem to like lots of action)
4. Add a actual story (Mario just fire-blasted a koopa, not really a story)
5. Try submitting things to NG alpha, and get suggestions from them on what to improve, and go from there.
